Check out our review of the new items

Last week, The Sun got an exclusive taste of McDonald’s new range of products.

From new McFlurries to a fresh take on a classic American sandwich, we enjoyed what we tried.

Check out our full, expert review below:

What are the most popular McFlurry flavours around the world?

The most popular McFlurry flavours around the world are between the Terry’s Chocolate Orange (UK), Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup (US) and M&M and Twix around Europe.

You might not have access to all flavours though, depending on where you are, so check your local menu first before you have your heart set.

Some exotic flavours like Pineapple Oreo is popular in Colombia, while Canada love the Creme Egg McFlurry.

Unfortunately, the UK doesn’t sell Bubblegum Squash, a favourite flavour in Australia.

But you can always count on Smarties and Oreo for being a fan favourite in most places.

McDonald’s app offers big savings on Mondays

Every Monday, the McDonald’s app has a host of deals available to cash in on.

You have to order it on the app and claim it from your closest McDonald’s by 11.59pm on the day though.

In the past, McDonald’s has offered triple cheeseburgers and quarter pounders for £1.09 in the exclusive Monday offer.

How much does McDonald’s delivery cost?

Uber Eats, Just Eat and MyMcDonald’s are all free to download through your phone’s app store.

However, you will have to pay a delivery fee, which will vary depending on your location, which service you use and whether there is a special offer on.

Just Eat tends to be the cheapest – it was £2.49 for delivery when we looked.

Both Uber Eats and using the McDonald’s app tend to be more expensive, with delivery fees of over £3.

It’s worth checking all three options before you order, as the fees can vary and sometimes are as high as £3.99.

You might also have to pay hefty service fees too.

It’s also worth factoring in special offers.

For example, on Mondays, you can often get burger deals through the My McDonald’s app which can offset the higher cost of delivery.

Mike Haracz, who used to work for McDonald’s as a corporate chef, has addressed why the fast-food giant does not sell onion rings.

Mike explains there is a very good reason behind why they are not on the menu at McDonald’s.

He said: “McDonald’s is most profitable when they are efficient. This has led them to reduce choice.”

He also revealed selling onion rings could lead to restaurant-goers ditching one of the company’s most profitable sides…
