It is also bringing back old fan favourites including the classic version of the burger and halloumi fries.

The new items will be landing on all menus across the UK and Ireland from May 10.

Fans of the chain will be thrilled to know they can also get their hands on the returning Wispa McFlurry too.

The brand new Mega Hot Sauce and Garlic Mayo dips will be available from next week, with two more to follow later this month.

On May 31 you’ll also be able to get your hands on Chipotle Mayo and Creamy Ranch too.

The new dips come in celebration of the 40th birthday of Maccies’ McNuggets and will be welcomed by fans who have been crying out for new flavours.

But, they won’t be around forever so you’ll have to be quick if you want to give them a go.

From next Wednesday fans of the beloved Big Tasty burger will be able to give a new version with a fiery kick a go too.

The Spicy Big Tasty comes with a 100% beef patty, made with Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and the classic Big Tasty sauce with a jalapeno twist.

For all the purists out there though you can still pick up the original burger too.

Next week will also see the return of the chain’s halloumi fries for the second year in a row – you can get a pack of four cheese sticks coated in a light batter, served with a rich tomato dip.

Plus, the popular Wispa McFlurry will be perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

It’s made up of soft dairy ice cream, swirled with Wispa chocolate pieces and a chocolate sauce.

If you fancy something a little different, you could also try the Wispa Gold version which comes with caramel sauce instead.

The Sun has asked McDonald’s for the full list of prices for each of the items, as well as their calories.

Here are all the items hitting menus on May 10:

  • Garlic Mayo dip
  • Mega Hot Sauce dip
  • Spicy Big Tasty
  • Big Tasty
  • Big Tasty with bacon
  • Halloumi fries

  • Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry

The items were only ever meant to stick around for a limited period as part of the regular McDonald’s menu shakeup.

How can I save on my McDonald’s order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald’s.

But always keep in mind menu prices can vary across different restaurants – so perhaps check prices online first to avoid getting a surprise.

You can get freebies on your birthday if you’ve got the My McDonald’s app – it’s free to download and you’ll only need a few quick details to get set up.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you’ll miss out.
