MCDONALD’S is launching two weeks’ worth of big discounts including £1.49 Big Macs.

Starting on Monday, August 14 customers using the fast food giant’s app will unlock cheap grub.

Offers include more than 60% off fan favourites including the Big Mac, McChicken Sandwich and Chicken McNuggets.

If you haven’t already, you’ll need to sign up to the app and you’ll be able to select the offers from next week.

Between Monday, August 14 and Monday, August 21, app customers will be able to bag a Big Mac for £1.49 – instead of £4.59.

Then between Tuesday, August 15 and Tuesday, August 22, customers can back a McChicken Sandwich for £1.49 – instead of £4.19.

Between Wednesday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 23, customers will also be able to grab a six-piece box of Chicken McNuggets for £1.49 – instead of £4.29.

Those visiting their local restaurant between Thursday, August 17 and Thursday, August 24, can also bag a Triple Cheeseburger for £1.49 – instead of £2.89.

Customers can also get a Filet-O-Fish for £1.49 – instead of £4.19 – between Friday, August 18 and Friday, August 25.

The fast-food giant is also offering the following discounts later next week:

  • 15% off when you spend £8 or more between Saturday, August 19 and Saturday, August 26.
  • £5 off when you spend £15 between Sunday, August 20 and Sunday, August 27.
  • £1.19 McMuffin plus a £1.49 Veggie Dipper or Veggie Deluxe between Monday, August 14 and Friday, August 25.

Signing up to the My McDonald’s app means you can keep on top of the latest deals and offers.

The app will allow you to browse the latest menu available at McDonald’s – you can download it for free via Google Play or the App Store.

It works anywhere you have internet, so you can look up what’s on offer while you’re out and about, or at home.

Every Monday, the app has a host of deals available to cash in on.

Researching and comparing prices at your local McDonald’s branches could also save you some cash on your order.

Menu prices can vary in restaurants just a couple of miles apart – so choose your branch wisely.

Our research found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants that are just two miles apart from each other.

You can bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a McDonald’s app user.

Remember to log your date of birth in the app – otherwise, you could miss out on free food or drinks.

The birthday offers are usually in line with the McDonald’s Mondays offers, discounts and deals.

If you’re a Big Mac fan, you can get the burger along with a side of fries for just £1.99.

To get the offer you need to fill out a quick survey feedback survey after a previous visit to redeem the offer.

All you need is an old McDonald’s receipt from a previous trip no longer than 60 days ago.

A 12-digit code will be printed on the proof of purchase, and you can enter this McDonald’s Food for Thought website to need to fill out a quick survey regarding your recent trip.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £1.99 offer, so jot it down.
