McDonald’s has added four new items to the menu in the next few hours

McDonald’s has added the new snack along with two new burgers to its menu from today (July 27).

It comes at the same time that the fast food chain revealed it’s hiking prices.

The much-loved 99p cheeseburger will increase in price for the first time in 14 years, and will now cost £1.19.

Meanwhile the new menu change includes a summery new drink too, and the meals and snacks all celebrate the cultures of Spain and Cyprus.

The Spicy Spanish Stack has two beef patties, chilli cheddar, red onion, spicy tomato sauce and lettuce served up in a warm paprika bun.

The Chicken Fiesta comes with a crispy chicken fillet topped
with chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion and lettuce
in its own warm toasted chilli and paprika topped bun.

Both the burgers will set you back £5.39 for the item by itself.

Meanwhile you can get Halloumi fries which haven’t been on the Maccies menu before.

The crispy snack is making a first-time appearance in the UK for £2.49 on its own or £6.49 for a share box.

The halloumi fries are coated in a light batter, and served with a rich tomato dip.

McDonald’s is also launching a new drink – Spanish Fruit Punch.

You can grab a fresh cup of the berry and citrus punch for just £2.29. If you want a large, you can also nap one for £2.61.

All of these new additions are on for a limited time and will be available until September 6.

Which menu items are going?

In June, the Taste of Italy menu brought a range of new burgers to show, including the Italian Stack and the Crispy Chicken Italiano.

The Sun’s Emily Downes said The Italian Stack burger tasted just like a lasagne in a bun.

But, unfortunately, the Taste of Italy burgers and sides have now come off the menu to make room for the new menu items.

  • The Italian Stack – £5.39
  • The Crispy Chicken Italiano – £5.39
  • Mozzarella Dippers – £1.99 single or £5.39 sharebox
  • The Tiramisu McFlurry – £1.19 mini or £1.69 regular
