MCDONALD’S has slashed the price of its popular Quarter Pounder burger to just 99p – but you’ve got to be quick to cash in.
A classic Quarter Pounder with cheese from Maccies will usually set fans back £3.49, but today they can get the burger for less than a third of the price.
The discount is only available today, in a deal that the fast-food giant honours every week to brighten up Mondays.
It’s aptly named McDonald’s Mondays and usually sees big ticket items on the UK menu reduced by almost two thirds.
You can only claim the foodie favourite for that price until midnight tonight though.
Once the clock strikes 12.00am, the burger will return to its full price and you’ll have to wait until next Monday to find out what’s been discounted for the day.
In the past, McDonald’s has offered triple cheeseburgers, McMuffins and more, also for 99p in the weekly offer.
Just last week you could get both your breakfast and lunch at just under a pound a go thanks to the 99p offer.
But this week’s deal is all about the Quarter Pounder burger – made of 100% beef, with two slices of cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and a dollop of tomato ketchup in a sesame seed bun.
It’s been the star attraction before, as it was slashed to 99p on the first Monday back in February.

So if you do miss out today, there’s nothing to say it won’t be reduced again, but you might be waiting another month to pay 99p for it.
