MATALAN is expected to take part in this year’s Black Friday discounting, offering huge discounts for eager shoppers ahead of the festive season. Last year the celebrity-loved brand, which counts Lydia Bright, Mark Wright and Abbey Clancy as previous collaborators, kicked off its sale early. But what can we expect for 2021?
What to expect from the Matalan Black Friday 2021 sale?
Matalan hasn’t revealed exactly when its Black Friday sale will start this year. Last year the retailer slashed prices on items featured across all categories including kidswear and home. It’s likely we’ll see something similar for 2021.
But shoppers can check the Matalan website for Black Friday updates as we get closer to November, or sign-up for the brands’ newsletter to be the first to know about the discounts. It’s worth noting that just because a product is in the Black Friday sale, doesn’t mean you can’t find it cheaper elsewhere. Always shop around to ensure you are getting the very best deal.
What was in the Matalan Black Friday 2020 sale?
Last year the Matalan Black Friday sale started on Monday, November 25 – four days before Black Friday, which fell on November 29.
The sale included half price discounts on men’s and womenswear items as well as savings on kidswear and home items.
When is Black Friday 2021?
Black Friday takes place on November 26 this year. The huge shopping event, which originated in the US, falls on the day after Thanksgiving. We expect a lot of retailers will start their sales a few weeks earlier, and based on last year it is likely Matalan will decide to launch some deals earlier too. Most will last until at least Cyber Monday on December 2.
When is Cyber Monday 2021 and will Matalan take part?
Cyber Monday will take place on November 29 this year, marking the final date shoppers can pick up bargains before Christmas. Cyber Monday is the online-only shopping event that closes out the weekend of price cuts after Black Friday. How much does delivery and shipping from Matalan cost?
Standard home delivery is free for orders over £50 or £3.99 for orders below this amount. Shoppers will have to place their orders before 4pm from Monday to Friday to get their delivery the next working day. It costs £4.95. Alternatively, you can avoid delivery charges all together by opting for in-store collection – it arrives within five days and it’s completely free. The company will send you a text message when your order is ready to collect. Simply bring a copy of your email as proof of purchase.
