Black Friday falls on November 27 this year but many retailers are starting their discounts earlier than this.

It’s worth noting that just because a product is in the Black Friday sale, doesn’t mean you can find it, or something similar, cheaper elsewhere.
You should always shop around before parting with your cash because it may not be the best value.
When does Matalan’s Black Friday 2020 sale start?
Matalan hasn’t revealed exactly when its Black Friday sale will start this year.
In the meantime, you can check the Matalan website for updates about its Black Friday deals, which are said to be “coming soon”.
The retailer gives you the option to sign up for free email alerts, which is where it’ll likely give shoppers a first glimpse of its discounts.
Last year the Matalan Black Friday sale started on Monday, November 25 – four days before Black Friday, which fell on November 29.
Black Friday 2020 shopping tips
IT might be tempting to dive in and snap up LOADS of items on Black Friday, but here’s how you can guarantee you’re getting a good deal.
Prepare: Research the items you want to buy and find out the cheapest price. By preparing a list of what you’re actually after, you can avoid impulsive spends.

Get there early: Each branch usually has only a few of the best headline deals, so be first in line. Check times too, as some stores open their doors extra early. Online sales can start as early as midnight.
Keep your receipts: You may get caught up in the excitement and end up buying more than you need. Keeping the receipts means you can do returns.
Use vouchers: Take a look at The Sun Vouchers, and see if you can get extra savings with discount codes.
What will be included in Matalan’s Black Friday 2020 sale?
Matalan is remaining tight-lipped on what’s going to be reduced as part of its Black Friday 2020 sale.
But if it’s anything like last year, shoppers can expect up to 50% off on women’s, men’s and children’s fashion, as well as kitchen and homeware.

How much does delivery and shipping from Matalan cost?
Standard home delivery is free for orders over £50, or £3.99 for orders below this amount.
For next working day delivery, Monday to Friday, expect to pay £4.95.
Alternatively, you can save money by choosing free click and collect.
Matalan will send you a text message when your order is ready to collect, usually within five days of placing your order.
