Martin, 51, said that brands such as ASOS, H&M and Debenhams were doing deals with savings galore.

But punters will have to move fast to secure the best prices for any presents.

From November 24 to November 27, H&M is offering up to 70 per cent off for members only, says Martin.

While Debenhams will see the same discounts on selected home and fashion expiring on November 28.

Those who like to shop at fashion favourite ASOS will have a bit longer until December 18 to take advantage of the “festive sale” with up to 70 per cent off.

If you are leaving it very late to buy Christmas presents then don’t fear as Martin has you covered.

The money whizz says that John Lewis, Matalan, Argos and M&S to name but a few will likely be doing half-price deals on the day before Santa arrives.

The Money Saving Expert also called on customers to take advantage of some massive savings at Adidas and Superdrug.

Until November 28, Superdrug will have up to 65 per cent off on certain items for members.

While those looking for more sporty presents – and who have an Adidas membership – could nab selected items for half-price at the popular brand up to November 26.

Meanwhile, Martin didn’t forget about anyone hunting for electronics with the Google Store seeing up to £300 off devices until November 27.

And for those thinking about taking a punt on furniture, the Ikea sale sees items up to 50 per cent off starting on December 11.

Earlier on Tuesday’s show, Martin revealed to viewers the genius way you can get free cash and a Disney+ subscription before Christmas.

The Money Saving Expert said that you could net free cash in time for the festive season by making the most of certain bank-switching deals.

In general, switching usually takes seven working days and closes your old account, says Martin.

Martin also advised those hunting for Christmas presents to “abandon” their shopping baskets.

Martin says that you should log in, add items to your basket and then walk away to net discounts.

Retailers see shoppers’ activity, so many will remind you about your purchase with an email.

He says this can “often” include a discount code to motivate you to buy it.

And parents have been realising they are potentially sitting on thousands in free cash thanks to another handy Martin Lewis tip.
