There are three Bank Holidays to enjoy this month, with the Early May Bank Holiday landing on the first day of the month.

The following Monday Brits will have an extra day off in celebration of King Charles’ Coronation on May 8, 2023.

And the Late May Bank Holiday will land on May 29, 2023.

M&S will cut hours many of its stores on these Mondays so you’ll want to make a note of their opening times.

The posh supermarket has more than 300 stores across the UK and you can find your local by using the store locator tool on its website.

When will M&S be open over the holiday?

Opening times at M&S opening times will vary by store so it’s always best to check your local store to avoid disappointment.

M&S stores in petrol stations, for example, are often open 24 hours a day.

All M&S shops will be open as usual on Saturday and Sunday April 29 and 30.

Aldi

Aldi has confirmed its store will be open as normal on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.

Its supermarkets will also keep their usual opening times on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.

On Monday, May 1 and Monday, May 8, Aldi stores will open at the usual time, but they will close slightly earlier at 8pm

Morrisons

Morrisons has confirmed its store will be open as normal on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.

Its supermarkets will also keep their usual opening times on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.

On Monday, May 1, Monday, May 8 and Monday, May 29, Morrisons stores will open at their usual time, but they will close slightly earlier at 8pm.

Asda

Asda has confirmed its store will be open as normal on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.

Its supermarkets will also keep their usual opening times on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.

On Monday, May 1 and Monday, May 8, Aldi stores will open at the usual time, but they will close slightly earlier at 8pm.

Iceland

Iceland has almost 1,000 stores nationwide and is one of the most popular supermarkets in the UK.

Most Iceland stores are open from 7am or 8am until 7pm, and in some cities, stores are open until 9pm.

The good news is that Iceland will be open on all the May Bank Holidays in 2023.

Co op

All Co-op stores will be open for business on the Bank Holiday on May 1, 2023.

A Co-op senior press officer told The Sun: “As a convenience retailer, all Co-op stores will be open as usual in our communities throughout the May Bank Holidays.
