M&S fans will be keen to know what time the retailer’s stores are open over the busy Christmas period.

Some shops and supermarkets reduce hours on public holidays to give staff some much-needed time off.

That means M&S may change hours across many of its stores over Christmas, so you’ll want to make a note of their opening times.

The posh supermarket has more than 400 stores across the UK and you can find your local by using the store locator tool on its website.

When will M&S be open over Christmas?

Opening times at M&S stores will vary so it’s always best to check your local store to avoid disappointment.

The retailer said that all its sites will be close on Christmas Day and Boxing Day this year.

However, all its stores will be open between December 18 and December 22, from 6am until 10pm.

Meanwhile, the retailer said a number of its stores will be open until 10pm on December 23 and 4pm on Christmas Eve.

The frozen food specialist will close on Boxing Day, it confirmed to The Sun.

Plus, Poundland will be pulling down the shutters on all of its shops in order to give staff a “well-earned break”.

The retailer will close on Boxing Day (December 26), a day which tends to be pretty busy for shoppers, as well as New Year’s Day on January 1.

This is on top of being shut on Christmas Day, as it is every year.

Meanwhile, Waitrose & Partners exclusively revealed to The Sun that it will be closing all 364 of its branches on Christmas Day and Boxing Day too.

The majority of the chain’s shops will then trade normal hours between December 27 and New Year’s Eve
