THE arrival of summer – and hopefully better weather – has got me in the mood for barbecued food.
I love the pre-prepped packs for grilling that you can start cooking in a jiffy — and they are great for entertaining.

Today I have rounded up some of my favourites and where to buy them.
ALDI: If you are after a quick, bargain barbecue (maybe just for your household), nip to Aldi for a super-cheap selection of meaty goodies with the Oakhurst 24-piece barbecue pack for £4.49. You get 1.8kg of meat and it’s the cheapest pack of this size I’ve found.
MUSCLEFOOD: This brand is great for bulk buying meat and it has launched two new barbecue boxes to cater for your garden get-togethers.
Featuring a range of high-quality meat and enough for up to six people, the new Reunion barbecue box includes everything from jumbo hot dogs to MuscleFood’s own melt-in-the-middle cheeseburgers, for just £28.
Those looking for a wider choice can opt for a bigger hamper. The Scorching barbecue selection, filled with ten of MuscleFood’s favourites, is £32.

HECK: Just in time for Father’s Day, Heck has a terrific selection that would also make a great gift.
