FED up with trying to cram all your toiletries into a tiny sandwich bag before you fly?
With many airlines charging extra for hold luggage, you might be planning to pack everything into your cabin bag.
But the bottles must hold 100ml or less and must all fit into a clear bag that is no more than 20cm x 20cm.
So save space for your favourite beauty potions with my top deals on solid soaps and shampoos that won’t eat into your liquids allowance.
SO SOLID CREW: Go for shampoo and conditioner in bars rather than bottles to free up precious space in that clear bag.
B&M has bars of 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner for £1 a pop in a choice of coconut, papaya or banana.
SUDS LAW: Swap shower gel for soap. In Savers stores, Sanex Dermo Protect is £1 for a pack of two 90g bars.
Cut one bar in half with a sharp knife to make a travel-sized portion to take with you and save the rest.
FACE FACTS: Boots has the Eco Warrior gently cleansing sensitive facial bar with chamomile and calendula essential oils (100g) for £3, down from £4.50.
Savers sells the Lynx Clean + Fresh twinpack of face and body soap in one for £1.

All these full-size bars can be cut in half if you’re going away for a week or less.
BRUSH UP: Toothpaste tablets will save you space and money.
Just take the number you need wrapped in a piece of foil or clingfilm.
Amazon sells 60 Waken peppermint toothpaste tablets for £3.16 which works out about 5p per brushing.
A tube of travel toothpaste lasts for around ten brushes (or five days) according to Colgate, and costs around £1.50 — which means it’s 15p per brush.
GET ON YOUR SOAPBOX: Push a bottle top into your shampoo and soap bars to let the water drain off after use. It’ll stop them getting soggy so they last longer.
Carry bars in a travel soapbox to keep your clothes sud-free. Savers has them for 69p each.
