A MAJOR phone network is giving millions of customers free mobile data tomorrow.
EE and BT Mobile are giving customers free mobile data across its network for the Coronation of King Charles III.

Customers won’t be charged to use the mobile data network from 00.01 on Saturday, May 6.
The free data offer will then end at midnight on Sunday, May 7.
It doesn’t matter if customers have already used up their data allowance.
They’ll still be able to access mobile data at no extra cost so nobody misses out.
Customers don’t need to do anything as the free data allowance will automatically be applied during the 24 hours it’s available.
Pay-as-you-go customers will also be able to browse the web for free – even if they’ve run out of credit.
But if you don’t have an EE or BT Mobile sim card you won’t be able to take part in the offer.

“So across Saturday and Sunday our customers will be able to count on our award-winning network to stream the historic moment and stay connected with family and friends.”
If you’re struggling to stay connected and can’t afford a contract or to top up your sim – there are ways to get back online for free.
How can I stay connected if I’m struggling financially?
People who are struggling to get online can get free sims and mobile data, as well as talk minutes and texts through the National Databank.
It has been likened to a food bank but for internet connectivity data – but the sign-up process can be complex.
Struggling Brits can now access the National Databank directly on the high street at ten O2 stores.
Alternatively, people can search for their local Good Things Foundation’s affiliated community centre online to get free data.
The databank has been built with support from Virgin Media O2 and with data donated by Virgin Media O2, Vodafone and Three.
Staff and volunteers at selected O2 stores or online centres in the Good Things Foundation’s network assess the needs of people they could support.
They then use the Data Bank to obtain sims and then dish it out.
To access the free data you have to first be receiving support from an online centre.
The amount given out will vary. It will be decided based on your financial situation and how much data is available.
Support is also given to those who are struggling to use the internet, with tools on offer to help increase confidence and basic IT skills.
To be eligible for a free sim, you need to be at least 18 years old and must come from a low-income household.
You also have to qualify on one or several of the following statements:
- Has no access or insufficient access to the internet at home
- And/or has no or insufficient access to the internet when away from the home
- And/or cannot afford their existing monthly contract or top up
