A MAJOR high street shop is set to close its online store for good this week.
Paperchase has announced it will stop its online operations from Friday, February 17.

It comes as the stationery chain fell into administration last month with all 106 stores set to close.
The online sale is set to continue until midnight on Friday and has been increased from 20% to 30% off.
A statement on the Paperchase website reads: “It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that Paperchase.com online store will cease trading on Friday February 17 at midnight.
“We want to take a moment to thank you for your support and loyalty over the years.
“In the meantime, you can still shop online and get at least 30% off everything today.”
It also states that customers can still shop in stores “with new stock arriving weekly” but warned “when it’s gone, it’s gone”.
Shortly after the brand fell into administration Tesco stepped up to buy rights to the brand, as it plans to sell Paperchase items in stores.
But The Sun previously revealed that administrators were planning to liquidate the business, closing all of the 106 stores and putting 1,000 jobs at risk.

All stores have since launched closing down sales, though it hasn’t been confirmed when they’ll shut for good.
Yesterday was the final day that customers could use their Paperchase vouchers before they expired.
Any rewards left on loyalty cards also expired at midnight.
In-store shoppers will no longer be able to get a refund – but you may be offered an exchange.
But, if you buy items online you have the right to a refund within a 14-day window from when you receive your delivery.
Last week, shoppers were rushing to buy bargains from Paperchase as the retailer looks set to “disappear from the high street”.
Stores may disappear off the high street within weeks but the process could take up to two months so it’s not clear when this could happen.

The company opened its first store in 1968 in Kensington, London.
In 2010, it launched its website and its first standalone store in Ireland in Dundrum, Dublin, in 2020.
From the Scottish clothing brand M&Co to wellies store Joules, a number of familiar brands went bust in 2022.
It comes as high street retailers are struggling as shoppers are turning to online shopping or larger department stores.
