A MAJOR coffee chain with more than 2,000 UK locations will be pulling the plug on one of its branches within just hours.
Costa Coffee is closing its cafe in West Bridgford near Nottingham tomorrow (September 22).

The store has been operating as normal up until now but will officially shut later on Friday.
The closure was confirmed to The Sun last month and at the time a Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “We can confirm that the Costa Coffee store on 48-50 Bridgford Road in West Bridgford will close for trade on September 22, 2023.
“We are working with our team members to redeploy them to other stores in the local area.
“We would like to apologise for the inconvenience the closure may cause and advise customers to visit our nearby store on Daleside Road, Nottingham, NG2 3GG, or visit www.costa.co.uk/locations/store-locator/map to find their nearest store.”
If this is your local Costa then don’t worry, there are places nearby where you can get your daily dose of coffee.
Tesco and Co-op both have a store nearby.
The West Bridgford branch isn’t the only Costa shutting for good.
Its shop in the Coliseum retail park in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, closed on June 3.

Back on June 5 its site in Welch Way, Witney, pulled the shutters down, with customers being directed to other nearby stores.
The chain also shut up shop at its Wigan town centre branch on June 25 this year.
Last Friday (September 15) its store in Oakham in the East Midlands closed down.
It’ll also pull the plug on its shop on Church Street, in Malvern on November 17.
Costa says it regularly reviews its store estate across the UK to ensure it’s right for its communities and teams.
This can include the closing or renovation of existing stores, or the opening of new stores.
Costa Coffee joins a long list of shops and businesses in the area that have been forced to close over the last year.
All 400 Wilko stores will disappear from the high street forever after it collapsed on August 10.
Just this week, 86 stores will be closing before all shops shut in October.
Within the past two weeks the chain has shut 90 locations across the country.
B&M launched a massive closing down sale before pulling down the shutters on its store in English Street, Cumbria.
This branch will close on Sunday, September 24, according to reports on social media.
Meanwhile, House of Fraser is closing its store at The Oracle shopping centre in Reading town centre on October 29.
Retailers have been feeling the pinch since the pandemic while shoppers are cutting back on spending due to soaring inflation.
High energy costs and a shift to shopping online after the pandemic are also taking a toll and many high street shops have struggled to keep going.
Brick and mortar stores have also seen a lack of footfall due to consumer habits switching to online shopping.
