CAFFE Nero has added a new drink to its summer menu that tastes just like an Aperol Spritz.

The new 0% cocktail is sure to be a hit with customers as it has both the look and taste of the classic aperitivo, but minus the hangover.

The Italian spritz costs from £3.80 (66cals) and is made from a refreshing bitter orange with sparkling soda, and garnished with a slice of orange.

It is an alcohol free version of the classic Aperol Spritz that is made with prosecco, Aperol and soda water.

Another new addition for the summer is the tropical fro-yo frappe priced from £4.75 (150cals) which is described as a “yoghurty flavour” perfectly paired with zingy mango and passionfruit and topped off with a sprinkle of strawberry sugar pearls.

As it is made with yogurt it has fewer calories than other frappe’s on the menu, so a great option if you are trying not to be too indulgent.

Also a hit is the recently added cherry ice latte priced from £4.30 (128cals) which is proving to be just as popular as the chain’s best selling iced pistachio latte which is also priced from £4.30 (170cals).

Coffee lovers can of course get a cold version of their favourite coffee with Caffe Nero’s ice-cold classics, which include iced cappuccino, iced latte, iced frappe and an iced flat white.

Baristas recommend that the new single origin coffee El Salvador works particularly well with the cold coffees.

The exclusive single origin coffee is grown on the slopes of San Salvador Volcano in El Salvador, and has flavours of nutty almonds, sweet honey and tropical fruits.

Some sweet treats have also been added to the menu, the new chocolate and salted caramel muffin is priced from £3.05 (404cals), along with the Sicilian lemon curd muffin from £3.05 (372cals) and and Italian Tiramisu from £4.05 (294cals).

Costa has also recently launched its summer menu which includes some exciting new drinks such as a blueberry bubble frappe.

The coffee chain has added two new Italian inspired lunch options and some tempting summery sweet treats too.

Marks and Spencer has delighted Percy Pig fans with the addition of a Percy Pig frappe to its summer menu.

The limited edition summer treat is made with berries, vanilla, Percy Pig sprinkles and topped with a Percy Piglet.
