A LUXURY mansion in a posh suburb popular with Premier League stars is on sale for £4.8million – but its unusual design has been slammed.

The luxury home, listed for £4.8m, in Cheshire has not been built yet, but has been brought to life through CGI photos.

However, the mansion, which will feature six bedrooms over three floors, has left online viewers all saying that same thing.

Commenters all agree that the new pad looks like a 90s council-run leisure centre.

One joked: “If you are searching for a dream house that looks like a medium sized market town leisure centre, from 1994… £4.8 million and this baby’s yours.”

Frances McLaughlin agreed, saying: “The multiple toilets and changing rooms just add to that feel.”

The house will be set in six acres of Cheshire countryside in the suburb of Mobberley, which is home to footballing stars like Wayne Rooney, John Stones and Kyle Walker.

It will boast an underground garage, swimming pool, sunken spa pool and gym.

There will also be a cinema, games room, music room and a safe room for added security.

House hunters worried about having to walk around such a massive property will be relieved to know it will also include a lift linking the different levels.

Prospective buyers will also be reassured that, should they be caught short, they will have a choice of seven different bathrooms.

The house, which has been reduced in price since it’s original listing, is being sold by Savills.

Listing the property, the agents said: “The property when completed will offer incredibly light, airy, spacious accommodation.

The accommodation is thoughtfully laid out over three floors with a flexible layout that is ideal for modern family living and entertaining on a grand scale.”

The ad also referred to it as “A rare opportunity to create a unique and spectacular family home offering over 22,500 sq ft of accommodation set in approx six acres of land.”
