Danyl Johnson, a Postcode Lottery ambassador, said: “Congratulations to our winner in Ilkley who has landed Sunday’s £30,000 prize.

“I’m already wondering where our next £30,000 prize will land! Look out for an exciting announcement as the winning postcode of April’s £3.2 million prize will be revealed on Saturday, April 29.”

The People’s Postcode Lottery costs players £12 a month and there are guaranteed winners every day.

And all you have to do to get yourself into the draw is sign up with your chosen postcode and you will be automatically entered.

This comes after a pair of couples won £70,000 in a postcode lottery and shared how they are planning to splash the cash.

Each of the lucky pairs scooped £30,00, as well as a £5,000 holiday, after their postcode in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire was announced as the winner of the People’s Postcode Lottery on March 1.

Diane Yarwood and her husband Jonathan said that they were “overcome with emotion” after raking in the prize and after years without a holiday, the happy couple are planning to set sail for Greece.

The other winning couple are planning to buy an apartment in Alicante, Spain, and even renovate their home to include an ensuite bathroom upstairs.

And some Teeside locals snagged a big win after a group of neighbours shared their whopping £10.2million Postcode Lottery prize.

All of them were in for the chance of taking home at least £4,000 but they could have won a whopping £370,000 as it all depended on how many people in their area – TS5 7 in Middlesborough – had tickets.

Another gran scooped a huge £35,000 on the Postcode Lottery and revealed the bizarre way she planned to spend the cash.

Jan Frost, 75, scooped the five-figure sum in February – two years after she started taking part in the weekly draw without telling hubby Mick, 79.

And the former factory worker says she was going to feed Mick’s passion for poultry with her winnings and get a new pigeon coop.

One more couple who won £30,000 on the People’s Postcode Lottery revealed that they nearly brushed off the winnings as a prank.

Stephen Wearmouth and three other lucky punters from Hartlepool scooped the jackpot when TS26 0JN was announced as a winner.

But one wife of a winner claimed to have originally thought her hubby was pranking her after he told her he had scooped the jackpot.

She said: “I didn’t believe him when he said he’d won, I thought it was a prank. He is a prankster after all.”
