Lottery operators Camelot confirmed the prize was claimed by a single ticket-holder in the draw on September 2, 2022.

It is not clear yet where the ticket was bought.

The claim will now go through the process of validation.

Once the ticket has been validated and paid, the ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news.

Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery Andy Carter said he is “delighted” at the claim.

He said: “This is absolutely incredible news and we’re delighted that we’ve received a claim.

“Our focus is now on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.”

Today’s claim is the fifth EuroMillions jackpot win worth over £100m this year.
