SHOPPERS can bag a bargain as shops are slashing prices of chocolate eggs after the Easter weekend.
Superdrug is selling Cadbury creme eggs for just 25p – more than half off the original price of 64p.

You can order the cheap Easter sweets online from Superdrug’s website for click and collect only, not home delivery, which is free.
Ocado is also selling creme eggs for cheap at 33p compared to its normal price of 50p.
The online supermarket is offering a third off some of the Easter eggs it still has in stock, including Cadbury, Lindt and Marks and Spencer treats.
Medium size KitKat and Smarties eggs are available from Ocado for £2.66, reduced from £4, and Marks and Spencer’s Lucky Lamb and Chirpy Chick are on sale for £1.33 – the chocolate eggs usually cost £2.
Ocado charge a minimum delivery fee of £2.99 and a maximum of £6.99 for orders of less than £75.
Ocado is also selling medium size Lindt bunny on sale for £1.66, reduced from £2.50 and larger ones priced at £2.66, reduced from £4.
You’ll find them even cheaper from Lindt directly, as it’s cut the price of leftover Easter treats on its website and that includes another 26 Easter items on sale too.

The chocolate maker’s famous gold bunny is now on sale for just 95p – half the usual price of £1.89 for the smallest 50g version.
As well as half price bunnies in a variety of sizes, Lindt is also selling choc eggs for less.
The Lindor milk chocolate Easter egg which weighs 133g is reduced from £5 to £2.50 and larger eggs weighing 260g are reduced from £10 to £5.
An 80g bag of Lindt Lindor mini eggs which contain a creamy chocolate filling is £1 instead of £1.99.
When buying online from lindt.co.uk there’s a minimum order amount of £20.
Delivery is free on orders over £50, otherwise it costs from £3.95 for standard delivery with DPD.
Choc eggs usually go on sale after Easter to get rid of stock.
But several supermarkets were almost sold out of Easter egg stock in the run up to the big day this year after a surge in demand.
Asda and Marks and Spencer warned shoppers that it was running out of Easter eggs, while customers found choc eggs were missing from their online orders from Tesco and Asda.
That’s left fewer bargain eggs on shelves after the Easter weekend.
Online we spotted just a single Easter egg on sale at Tesco.
Tesco is selling Cadbury’s Bournville dark chocolate egg as reduced to clear for £1 – the 155g usually costs £2.
Asda and Sainsbury’s have no chocolate Easter eggs left in stock online.
We’ve asked the supermarkets if there are leftover eggs in stores and if they are now on sale and will update this story when we hear back.
Asda told The Sun that it’s pretty much sold out in stores too.
