LIDL’S sell-out energy-saving gadget is back on shelves next week and it could save you money on your bills.

The discounter is reintroducing its Silentnight luxury heated throw that costs just 3p an hour to run.

The retailer is selling the nifty gadget for just £25 from November 19.

Shoppers will only be able to pick one up in their local Lidl store though as it does not offer a click and collect or delivery service.

You can find your nearest Lidl branch by using the store locator tool on its website.

The heated throw comes with nine heat settings and also a three-year guarantee.

Not only that, but it will turn itself off if left alone for two hours, meaning it’s ideal if you want to put it over yourself before bedtime.

It does come with a warning to not fold it up when in use and is not recommended for children three or under.

The throw could not only keep you warm, but save you money on your energy bills too.

Recent figures from CheckaTrade show that the average cost of running your heating per hour is 7p per kilowatt-hour.

This means that if you have a 24 kW boiler, it would cost you £1.68 an hour to run, or £13.44 for eight hours.

But the heated throw costs just 3p an hour to run, or 24p for eight hours – a massive saving.

Shoppers are full of praise for the energy-saving gadget online.

One said: “Best thing I ever bought,” while a second added: “These are amazing! Total game changer.”

A third enthused customer said: “I’ve got an electric throw for the couch and they are amazing.”

Lidl isn’t the only retailer that’s sold the heated throw previously – Aldi often sells out when it brings the gadget to market.

Remember, to always shop around when buying something like this as you might be able to find it cheaper.

You can use websites like Price Spy and Price Runner to compare how a certain product is selling across different retailers.

The Google Product tab is also a quick way to scan the internet to see if other websites are selling a similar product for less.

We had a look to see if you can find the Silentnight heated throw cheaper than £25, but couldn’t.

Argos is selling it for £45 while Boots is selling for £55.

So if you’ve got a Lidl near you and fancy snapping one of the heated throws up, it might be worth waiting until next Sunday comes around.

How to save money at Lidl

Lidl is known for being one of the cheapest places to buy your groceries, according to Which?.

But you can save even more money at the German discounter with a few tricks.

The Sun previously spoke to retail expert Karen Green who revealed the best items to buy and the ones to avoid.

You’ll want to snap up Grocer Awards winners, cupboards staples and Alcohol and avoid shampoo or conditioner.

It’s worth heading to your nearest Lidl’s bread aisle too – this is where it runs reductions of up to 30%, usually indicated by orange stickers.

Plus, why not pick up a 5kg box of veg for just £1.50 through the retailer’s Waste Not scheme.
