LIDL’s sell-out winter gadget that will help you save money on bills is coming back in days.
The discount supermarket has an Addis 12m heated airer for £34.99, which is cheaper than B&M and Argos.

The heated clothes airer uses less energy than a tumble dryer and is quicker at drying laundry than a conventional airer.
According to Uswitch a tumble dryer using a 2.5kWh per cycle would be 68p per cycle.
However, using a nifty gadget like this one from Lidl can save you hundreds of pounds a year as it costs around just 6p to run.
The wings on the airer fold out to give a drying space of 12m and it holds 10kg of laundry.

According to the website it is made from lightweight aluminium and is easy to move around.
It is also quick and easy to assemble and can be folded down when not in use for easy storage.
The heated airer also comes with a 1 year warranty.
While you won’t be able to buy it online you can find your nearest store using the store locator tool on the website.

Shoppers who have previously bought the Addis airer have described it as “the best purchase ever”.

As always it is good to shop around to make sure you are getting the cheapest deal.
You can use sites such as Google Shopping to compare items from different retailers.
We had a look around to see what other retailers were charging for heated airers of the same size, and at the time we checked Lidl’s was the cheapest.
Argos has a Minky 12m heated winged airer for £60, so quite a bit more expensive than Lidl’s, however, this one does come with a cover.
The idea of the cover is that it helps to keep the heat constant and therefore can help to dry your clothes even quicker.
We also checked B&M and it had an Addis airer that looks almost identical to the one in Lidl.
The one in B&M is still more expensive and priced at £50, making it £16 more than in Lidl.
Aldi has also recently had a version in stock, however, when we checked it was no longer available on the website.
Prices and stock levels can change all the time so it is best to do your own research before buying.
