Lidl has made a major change to rewards – but shoppers need to be quick

LIDL has made a big change to its rewards scheme and it could see one customer win £10,000.

The discounter has added a new feature to its Lidl Plus app aimed at getting customers eating more fruit and veg.

The Fruit and Veg Stamp Card sees customers given a virtual stamp every time they spend £5 on fruit and veg in-store.

To get the stamps, you just have to scan your Lidl Plus app at the till.

Once they’ve collected four stamps they can enter themselves into a Prize Draw, but they have to do this by March 1, when the offer finishes.

Once in the draw, they can win one of 100,000 fruit and veg coupons and one shopper will be in line for a £10,000 cash prize.

Any winners will be told via email by March 10.

Anyone who wins a fruit and veg coupon can opt to donate £1 to Lidl’s Community Fund instead.

It comes after Lidl reduced the ply of its Florayl toilet paper, leaving shoppers frustrated.

Making a list before you head out to do your food shopping is always a good start.
