ONE of Samsung’s Android rivals has launched a brand new smartphone and it’s throwing in a free tablet to lure customers.

The move comes a week before Samsung hosts a big event in which its fresh Galaxy line-up is expected to be revealed.

Honor’s all-new Magic6 Lite is a mid-range handset with a competitive price tag.

The firm has just announced that it’s coming to the UK later this month at £349.99.

Buyers will also receive a free Honor Pad X8 tablet worth £99.99 when they purchase the smartphone.

One of the key selling points Honor is hoping to catch people’s attention with is its anti-drop display.

The firm says it uses “advanced cushioning technology” from newly developed materials which can prevent the chances of a nasty crack across your screen.

So it should survive being dropped from a height of up to 1.5 meters.

The screen itself is a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved display.

Meanwhile, the camera consists of three lenses, including a 108-megapixel Ultra-Clear Camera, a 5-megapixel Ultra-Wide Camera and a 2-megapixel Macro Camera.

Honor says the wide camera offers a 110-degree field of view, allowing users to capture big landscapes or group shots with mates.

On the inside, the Magic6 Lite packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip so apps run smooth and speedy.

And the battery is actually bigger than the iPhone‘s, clocking in a hold of 5300mAh.

Honor claims this allows the smartphone to last two days on a single charge.

It’ll be available in three colours: Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Sunrise Orange.

The £349.99 offer with free tablet is available to order from Honor’s website now.
