IF TOYS are on your kids’ Christmas lists, you should definitely be on the lookout for LEGO Black Friday deals.

The Denmark based brick-building brand is known to offer discounts in the period — last year it offered customers 20% off through its own website — but it is also possible to get discounted LEGO through other retailers, in their own Black Friday sales.

When is Black Friday 2021?

If you’re looking to Black Friday for Lego deals ahead of Chrismas, Friday November 26 is the date to make a note of.

Black Friday falls the day after the American Holiday Thanksgiving, which is always the fourth Thursday of November.

But just as Black Friday itself changes dates, sales generally start on different dates too. Lego has been known to kick off its official Black Friday deals the day before Black Friday, giving fans an early start to shopping.

Retailers can kick off sales even earlier, so we’ll be updating this page as soon as we learn of Lego deals.

Is Lego taking part in Black Friday this year?

We’re fully expecting Lego to offer Black Friday deals this year, meaning that you’ll be able to get discounts on a range of toys that will entertain a child (or adult!) no matter what their interests are — sets cover everything from Minecraft to Mickey Mouse and Spiderman to Stranger Things.

You’ll also be able to find Lego sets on sale through other retailers like Argos, Selfridges and John Lewis.

What was in Lego’s sale last year?

Last year Lego offered 20 per cent off a selection of its sets, from Lego Friends to Toy Story, Star Wars, Hidden Side, Harry Potter and superhero sets.

It also gave a free Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol tribute gift to all customers who spent over £150 (which is easy on the Lego site) and if you signed up as a VIP there were added incentives such as rewards and giveaways.

eBay offered even bigger discounts on Lego, with some sets priced at 25 per cent off or more. Amazon also had a range of Lego Black Friday deals on offer.

What to expect from Lego Black Friday deals

Lego’s Black Friday deals focused on themed sets, with a blanket discount off included products. We expect a similar theme-wide discount this year, as Lego looks to offer extra value to shoppers.

Discounts are more likely on big-name sets, and Marvel’s Avengers, Batman, Frozen 2 and Star Wars sets are often popular.

Don’t forget to keep an eye on retailers for discounts too – they often offer a greater variety of savings.

Retailers including Smyths, Argos, Amazon, Ebay and John Lewis all stock Lego, and may drop prices independently.

What does Lego charge for delivery?

Lego offers a free standard 2-4 day delivery service for any orders over £50 made online or by phone.

But the delivery time may take an extra day if you are in selected parts of the UK.

You can find the full details on Lego’s site, here.

Does Lego offer any other discounts?

Lego doesn’t offer any extra discounts outside of its sale promotions.

But voucher codes and discounts may be available from voucher sites for retailers stocking the brand.

Sun Voucher’s offers kids, baby and toys voucher codes which may be useful for Black Friday Lego deals.
