According to Lakeland, this device can be used anywhere and with its cordless capabilities is easier to move and use than ever before.

Advertised as “small in stature but packing a mighty damp busting punch” Lakeland’s dehumidifier could rid your home of mouldy patches and nasty odours.

But the gadget has been discontinued at Lakeland forcing customers to find new alternatives.

Cheap dehumidifiers are hard to find with some costing upwards of £100.

Here are a few cheap dehumidifiers that were found online.

At around the same price ManoMano’s Air Purifying Moisture Absorbing Dehumidifier is said to prevent mould and “enrich the atmosphere in your home”.

At £10 it is advertised as “non-intrusive” and silent – working best in small places and also getting rid of any foul smell.

It absorbs the moisture into a storage tank which they say is easy and “stress-free” to empty.

It is also cordless.

At just £10 it is one of the cheapest dehumidifiers online.

Another option you can purchase is Amazon’s Kasmole Mini Dehumidifier.

It is advertised as a bathroom dehumidifier but it is not limited to just the bathroom as labelled in the description.

For a pack of two, it will cost £13.67 – and for just one it costs £9.04.

This dehumidifier also prevents the build-up of mould and musty odours.

It can be used for all types of rooms and can also be used in your fridge to keep it “moisture-free” and features a “spill-proof design around food items”.

This device is also cordless and requires batteries.

Lastly, another alternative for shoppers are ANSIO Interior Dehumidifier.

Unlike the last two dehumidifiers, this product doesn’t require batteries and is not a device.

ANSIO Interior Dehumidifier prevents dampness and mould in your home by using “unique hydrophilic crystals”.

Priced at £9.75 and containing 500ml of these hydrophilic crystals – it’s advertised as ideal for combating “condensation, damp rooms, allergens in the air, mould, mildew and neutralising odours”.

The crystals can absorb three times their own weight in water according to the description.

And depending on the humidity level the product can last between 4-6 weeks.
