KIRBY and the Forgotten Land is a Nintendo Switch platform video game that will be released in 2022. It was developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo.
It will be the 17th mainline Kirby game and the series’ first 3D mainline game, excluding spin-offs.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land: what is the release date?
The game will be released on Nintendo Switch on March 25, and a sneak glimpse at gameplay was shown at Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct.
Kirby is seen dashing across a strange world with an “unusual mix of nature and civilization” in a new trailer for the game.
It also depicts Kirby adopting mouthful mode, which allows the beloved pink character to devour a full automobile, a vending machine, a large mouthful of water, and more.
Kirby will also be able to adopt numerous copy abilities, resulting in stronger strikes.

What is Kirby and the Forgotten Land about?
Kirby washes up on the shores of The Forgotten Land, a new “post-apocalyptic” world.
He discovers that an evil group known as The Beast Pack is kidnapping animals, mostly Waddle Dees.
Kirby sets off on an adventure throughout the new globe with a new rescued buddy named Elfilin to rescue the abducted Waddle Dees and face the Beast Pack along the way.
Kirby will employ a variety of copy powers to assist defeat foes and proceed through each stage in order to save the Waddle Dees.
The player takes control of Kirby on a journey across the Forgotten Land to save the Waddle Dees.

When did Kirby and the Forgotten Land begin development?
Kirby’s 30th Anniversary inspired the creation of the game.
In anticipation of the milestone, HAL Laboratory has been promising a new Kirby game since 2020.
Shinya Kumazaki, the director of Kirby Star Allies, hailed it as a “new chapter” for the series that will “cultivate the greatest parts of Kirby.”
The Kirby website was utilizing placeholders for a new game a month before the September 2021 Nintendo Direct, further hinting that a new mainline game was coming shortly.
The game was initially formally announced on the Nintendo Direct on September 23, 2021, after being teased for six hours on the Nintendo website.
