Reports of stabbing at Crosshouse hospital and two other ‘potentially linked’ serious incidents in area

An Ayrshire hospital is under lockdown as police deal with a “serious incident” after reports of a stabbing at the site and another two “potentially linked” serious incidents in the area.

Police Scotland officers were called to Crosshouse hospital in Kilmarnock and ambulances have been diverted to University Hospital Ayr. It is not currently known who has been injured.
