KFC opens pub where you can eat KFC and drink a pint – but there’s a catch

CHICKEN and beer lovers can combine both passions after KFC opened its first ever pub – but there’s a major catch.

The Colonel’s Arms, in Fulham Palace Road, Hammersmith, London, started welcoming in guests last Friday, November 25.

Footie legend Jimmy Bullard was on hand to open the new pub.

But anyone keen to head there has just days left to do so – it will be serving its last drinks and food on December 1.

Anyone who does manage to make it down there on time will be able to get their hands on KFC’s famous chicken via delivery and a pint.

We’ve asked KFC what pints are on offer and if any other drinks are as well and will update this story when we know more.

A number of screens will be playing World Cup men’s football games as well.

Jimmy said: “It’s class when the three things I love – football, fried chicken and the pub – come together!

“What a blinder to be asked by the absolute legends at KFC to be the official landlord for KFC Delivery’s first ever pub, The Colonel’s Arms!”

Customers can order KFC via delivery on a number of apps, including Uber Eats, Deliveroo and the KFC app.

Uber Eats comes with a 79p delivery charge, Deliveroo £1.49 and it’s £2.99 on the KFC app.

If you don’t want to make the trip out to the pub in Hammersmith, but don’t want to miss out on the experience, you can always order the Colonel’s Arms Bar Kit merchandise.

It features a limited-edition pint glass, two coasters, bottle opener and bar mat.

It comes after Primark announced Greggs Christmas clothing while KFC launched a separate clothing line in August.

How can I save money at KFC?

If you’re looking to save money next time you’re at KFC, we’ve got some tips.

You could download its free rewards app, called the Colonel’s Club.

You can get freebies through the loyalty scheme, if you meet certain criteria.

For example, you can get £5 off your order if you collect eleven Colonel Club stamps.

But you’ll have to spend at least £33 first before collecting the stamps.

All you need to do is show your stamps to the cashier at a branch, and you can tuck into your £5 free food.

Plus, students can get a free original recipe snack box if they spent £3 or more in one transaction.
