Ever since Hailey and Justin tied the knot in 2018, the pair have been couple goals, with both parties gushing about their love on social media. When he’s not promoting Drew House, Justin is reposting Hailey’s modelling photos on his profile, showing fans just how in awe he is of his wife.
Although they’re living a fairytale, the Biebers were faced with a massive obstacle this year: both of them suffered terrifying health scares within months of each other. However, that has strengthened their relationship.

Talking to Harper’s Bazaar for their Icons issue, the 25-year-old touched on married life with one of the world’s biggest pop stars, and their concerning health issues she dubbed as the “scariest moments of [her] life.”
On March 10, the supermodel was hospitalized after experiencing a mini-stroke related to a blood clot in her brain. In a YouTube video titled Telling My Story, she recalled the moment her regular morning turned into a nightmare, that resulted in heart surgery.
Three months later, Justin postponed his summer Justice Tour dates after getting diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. The Baby singer gave fans an up-close glimpse of his facial paralysis on Instagram; he was unable to move the right side of his face due to a virus attacking the nerves in the ear.
Less than two months after the reveal, the singer returned to the stage in July.
They may have been young when they tied the knot, aged 21 and 24, but they’re seemingly one of the strongest couples in showbiz. Hailey stood by her wedding vows, “for better or for worse”, particularly during their health complications.
“I just think life is changing all the time,” she said.
“Day to day, week to week, year to year. I think a perfect example of that is over the last six months, both of us have gone through very serious health issues.
“You have to figure out how to deal with this s*** as it comes, you know? There’s a reason they say ‘for better or for worse.’ Like, that’s for real!

How do you know you’re in love? You’re completely obsessed with each other and can’t wait to spend time together, and that’s exactly Hailey’s attitude to her romance.
“He’s still the person that I wanna be rushing back to,” she admits. “I might fly somewhere and go do a job, but I can’t wait to come back and hang out. And I feel like that’s because of the effort that’s been put in on both sides.
“At the end of the day, like, he’s my best friend, but it still does take a lot of work to make it work. And then I know eventually when kids come in the picture, that’s going to be a whole other season of navigating how to make that work.”
If you ever attend Justin’s shows, you’ll probably bump into Hailey in the audience.
