PM has asked the Cabinet Office to conduct an inquiry into the allegations, says spokesperson

The prime minister has called for an inquiry into claims Tory MP Nusrat Ghani was sacked as a minister after being told her “Muslimness” was “making colleagues uncomfortable”.

In a statement on Monday, the Boris Johnson’s spokesperson said: “The prime minister has asked the Cabinet Office to conduct an inquiry into the allegations made by Nusrat Ghani MP.
