THE festive jumpers from John Lewis’s heart-warming Christmas advert have already sold out just hours after the film was revealed.
The department store launched its highly anticipated commercial this morning and shoppers snapped up the £29 Christmas tree jumpers.

John Lewis’s 2021 Christmas ad is called The Unexpected Guest and features a teenage boy called Nathan who makes friends with an alien named Skye.
He shows Skye, who has crash landed to earth, how Christmas is celebrated.
In the advert, Nathan wears one of the John Lewis Christmas jumpers, which are navy, green and red with a Christmas tree design on the front.
When Skye has to return to space he gifts her the jumper in a tear-jerking moment.
The jumpers have been popular with shoppers as there are no adult sizes available online just hours after the advert premiered.
John Lewis said more should be landing soon.
Kids sizes, which are on sale for between £14 and £18, are still in stock but they’re flying off the shelves and most sizes have sold out.
The retailer has put a limit on how many jumpers shoppers can buy, with only three per transaction allowed.

If you do manage to get your hands on a jumper, 10% of each one sold is given to charities FareShare and Home-Start UK.
John Lewis said it wanted to spread joy with the advert, as so many people couldn’t celebrate Christmas in the traditional way last year.
The retailer also wanted to remind viewers of the magic of experiencing Christmas for the very first time.
