Ex-leader reveals he has given statement to party ‘to clear up any confusion’ about comments that led to his suspension
The former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has said concerns about antisemitism were not “exaggerated” or “overstated”, as he sought to resolve the dispute which led to his suspension from the party.
Corbyn was suspended after claiming in his response to a damning Equality and Human Rights Commission report last month that the problem had been “dramatically overstated”.
