Suspect has been detained after incident that took place at a military training ground
Two soldiers have been killed and a third wounded when a fellow recruit opened fire at a training range in central Japan, the military has said.
“During a live-bullet exercise as part of new personnel training, one Self-Defense Forces (SDF) candidate fired at three personnel,” military officials said in a statement.
