Craig Crouch also convicted of child cruelty while baby’s mother, Gemma Barton, acquitted

A man has been found guilty of murdering his 10-month-old stepson Jacob Crouch who was left with dozens of injuries, including at least 39 rib fractures, in the run up to his death.

Craig Crouch, 39, was convicted of murder and three counts of child cruelty towards his stepson, who died alone in his cot on 30 December 2020 at home in Linton, near Swadlincote in Derbyshire.
