A MAN who spent 16 YEARS building up his rare collection is flogging it for a whopping £75k.
Gordon White is gearing up to part ways with his beloved rare Pokémon card collection – that all started thanks to his kids.

The dad-of-two began his mission when his children became involved in the Pokémon league 16 years ago.
He said: “It all started as my children wanted to get involved in the Pokémon league and we decided on the one at Megazone in Falkirk.
“My kids got really good at the game and, as I was the only parent turning up there all the time, so I started playing the card game too.
“In the collection, there are a lot of cards you just can’t get anymore.
“I ended up running that league for 16 years and every time a new set came out it cost me in the region of £1,000.
“For me, the fun is the completing, not the collecting.
“And as far as I’m concerned, I’ve completed it so it’s time to pass it all on.”
The collection features six complete sets, with values ranging from £1,5000 to £4,000.

They include the Skyridge set, Neo Destiny set, Legendary Collection Reverse Holo set including Charizard 3/111, EX Team Rocket Returns set, Aquapolis set and Sykridge Reverse Holo set.
Other rare additions available are the complete Pokémon Nintendo Black Star promo collection of 40 and the complete Pop Series 5 with all 17 cards.
This comes as more people are beginning to realise they may be sitting on a fortune.
The pandemic lockdowns meant people had more time on their hands and it fuelled a new surge of interest in Pokemon trading cards.
Enthusiasts can send their cards to be graded, valued and sealed by an organisation in America called The Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA).
It will give cards a rating out of 10, with the highest being the most valuable.
The record for the most expensive Pokemon card ever sold was the Pikachu Illustrator card that was PSA grade 10.
It was snapped up by YouTuber Logan Paul for a whopping £3,862,424 last year.
Richard Page, owner of NeoCards and Collectibles, previously told The Sun that the most valuable cards are those that are older, harder to find (so rare) and are in the best condition.
One of the rarest Pokemon cards, the 1st Edition Shadowless Charizard card sells for a pretty penny.
The card was snapped up for $220,574 (£164,691) at Iconic Auction in October 2020 by none other than rapper, Logic.
The highest amount the card has sold for is $369,000 (£275,514). An unknow bidder won the card in December 2020 through Goldin Auctions.
Of course a Pokemon card, or other collectible, is only really ever worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
A collector could be willing to pay more for any item that completes a set and prices can change over time, even for the same item.
