If you’re expecting mail, you may want to note that there won’t be any Royal Mail services on Good Friday (April 7) or Easter Monday (April 10).
Postal services will go ahead as normal on Easter Saturday (April 8) as this isn’t a bank holiday.
Royal Mail posties usually deliver letters and parcels six days a week, Monday to Saturday.
But what about Post Office services over the long Easter weekend?
There are around 11,500 Post Office branches across the UK, the majority of which are run independently or as a franchise arrangement.
Opening times have always varied by branch, with no set hours across the network.

Post Office branches are closed normally on Sundays, so this will be the case on Easter Sunday.

Saturday April 8 – the day before – is a normal day, so you should find your local branch open as usual.
On Good Friday (April 7) and Easter Monday (April 10) you could find that hours are different because it’s a Bank Holiday.
As opening times and hours vary from store to store, it’s best to check ahead before you head out to avoid a wasted journey.
