Today has been declared a bank holiday as mourners pay their respects for the passing of the longest-reigning British Monarch.
Some supermarkets and petrol stations will be open for part of the day (Monday, September 19) – but they might be on reduced hours.

Is Spar open today?
Spar stores work like local shops, so they offer different opening times to suit different communities.
Some stores will remain closed, while others will remain open today.
Spar said on its website that shops owned by the company will be closed.
But independently owned Spar stores can choose whether to stay open today.
Customers have been advised to check ahead to see if they local branch is open or not today.

What time does Spar usually open?
Spar stores usually open from around 6am to 10pm every day of the week including Sundays.
Most read in Money
Some can close earlier than this, like Spar New George Street in Manchester, which closes at 8pm instead – and opens an hour later at 7am too.
Some stores that are part of petrol stations will be open until midnight, with some staying open 24 hours.
Can I get my shopping delivered from Spar today?
Spar offers a delivery service – but it’s best to check with your local store if this is running as usual today.
You’ll usually have to contact your local Spar directly to set up a delivery slot – but these are typically prioritised for the vulnerable and elderly.
Not all stores offer this service though as each are independently run, so check with your local branch to see if delivery is available to you.
You can also get Spar products delivered via Deliveroo.
The charge for this will depend on how far away you live from a store, but you can get free delivery if you spend at least £15.
Then it will usually take around 20 minutes to reach you.
When are the Bank Holiday dates for 2022?
The next Bank Holiday dates fall later on in the year.
This year’s Bank Holidays will fall on Boxing Day and December 27, which is a substitute day as Christmas Day is on Sunday.
