HUNDREDS of users are reporting issues opening Chat GPT amid reports it’s parent firm Open AI is down.
People blasted the “annoying” outage online, the second in less than a week.
Others were able to open the ChatGPT app – created by machine learning company Open AI – but say the platform has limited them to just a few messages at a time.
Hundreds of reports poured in after midnight tonight on Downdetector.
It comes days after ChatGPT users reported problems with the platform.
On July 13, over 1,800 users in the US claimed the high-tech AI bot was “broken”.
Another 400 users in the UK claimed they were suffering from similar issues, including “failing to get service status.”
The outage even left customers locked out of ChatGPT, created by machine learning company OpenAI.
The OpenAI status platform reported that the company implemented a fix and that it is “monitoring results.” Reports began to plummet at around 11.30am ET.
ChatGPT is a language model that can respond to prompts, helping its users create content.
