Is Morrisons open on New Year’s Eve? Opening and closing times over the holiday

LIKE many other supermarkets, Morrisons changes its opening times during the New Year period.

Before you head down to do the big shop, it’s worth checking when your local Morrisons will be open.

Nationwide, Morrisons stores were closed on Christmas Day.

What are Morrison’s opening hours over the New Year?

From Monday December 27 to Thursday December 30, Morrisons shops are open from 7am to 10pm.

On New Years Eve, they’re set to be open for business from 7am to 6pm.

And on New Years Day, from 9am to 6pm.

Morrisons was one of numerous UK retailers set to shut all stores on Boxing Day this year.

Instead, stores opened again on December 27.

Last year, Morrisons opened up 9am on Boxing Day but it was voluntary for staff to work and those who did got double pay.
