THIS September Bank Holiday will see some businesses alter their opening times, or even shut.
Monday, September 19 has been declared a Bank Holiday as a mark of respect for the Queen’s funeral.
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022, and she will be laid to rest on Monday while the nation mourns.
In honour of the Queen, many shops and businesses have decided to change their opening times, or close completely, on Monday.
We explain whether Costa Coffee will be open on the Bank Holiday.
What are Costa Coffee’s opening times over the September Bank Holiday?
Costa Coffee is to close the majority of its branches on Monday, September 19.
It has more than 2,000 outlets in the UK, and only a small number of branches – for example, those in hospitals – will remain open.
Costa also said all of its Express machines, which are found in locations such as motorway services, will remain open.
Its 11,000 Costa Express machines usually run all year round and are accessible as long as the store or service station they are located in is open.
You can check where your nearest one is using the chain’s store locator.

Is Costa Coffee delivering over the bank holiday?
Like many restaurants and other food providers, Costa uses delivery services as well as click and collect options to offer fast delivery.
Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats deliver Costa to your door, as long as a store within range is open.
Both the Costa app and the delivery partner apps let you know what is available for you to buy.
But this Bank Holiday, you won’t be able to get your coffee delivered because the majority of stores are closed.
When are the bank holiday dates for 2022?
