IPHONE owners have started receiving a life-saving new trick that will make parking less of a nightmare.
Apple has added a brand new feature to its Maps app so you can find a suitable space.
People can search for availability, check prices and even reserve a spot.
The tech giant has partnered with digital parking marketplace SpotHero to provide information on 8,000 parking venues directly within Apple Maps.
All you need to do is search your destination in Apple Maps, select More, then Parking.
This will then take you to the SpotHero website within the app.
Before you race to try it out, it’s only available in the US and Canada for the moment.
There’s no word on whether other countries will get the same perk.
But Apple are usually quite good at rolling things out so hopefully other places won’t be left in the slow lane for too long.
According to Mac Rumors, you can also filter searches with things like EV charging and wheelchair accessibility.

Apple has been progressively improving its Maps app over the years.
It was launched in 2012 to replace Google Maps as the default on iPhones.
The service initially suffered some embarrassing errors, prompting a rare apology from the company.
Since then, the app has made leaps and bounds.
As part of iOS 15 Apple Maps went 3D, showing some of the world’s most famous landmarks in incredible quality.
Augmented reality directions were also added, allowing users to see arrows on a live screen of the street they’re on via their iPhone camera.
Last year, advanced cycling options were introduced too.
As for the new parking feature, Apple will have to find different partners if it wants to expand the idea internationally.
That’s because SpotHero only serves the US and Canada.
SpotHero was already usable on Apple CarPlay.
