There’s likely still two months to wait until Apple launches the iPhone 15, but rumours about the flagship smartphone are already rife.
A game-changing titanium alloy frame, a larger battery and a USB-C charging port are just some of the many predictions made by tech experts.
Now, a leak suggests that two of the new handsets – the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – will come in a ‘unique’ colour.
Together with MacRumors, seasoned tipster, Unknownz21, posted photos of the new shade, which it describes as ‘dark blue with a grey tone.’
And while previous rumours suggested Apple could be launching a red version of the iPhone 15, the leaker claims this is unlikely.

Unknownz21 posted four photos of the new shade on Twitter, writing ‘beautiful in blue.’
According to MacRumors, the blue shade will be available in a new titanium material, and will have a brushed finish ‘unlike the stainless steel that Apple has had in the past.’
While Apple has previously launched blue iPhones, MacRumors claims that the colour is darker and more grey to ‘better compliment the titanium finish.’
Alongside the new blue, the leaker claims that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in silver, space grey/space black, and titanium grey.
Previous rumours shared by 9to5Mac reported that Apple was planning a new crimson shade for the iPhone 15 Pro.
However, MacRumors claims that this is unlikely.
‘We’ve seen multiple rumors of a deep red color for the iPhone 15 Pro models, but Unknownz21 has not seen signs that this color is in development,’ it said.
‘The blue color, however, has been used on iPhone 15 Pro prototype devices, suggesting that the blue could be the final color that Apple is working on.’
Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 itself is expected to come in at least three bright colours – pink, blue and green, according to the leaker.
Aside from the new colours, rumours suggest Apple could be planning some huge changes with the iPhone 15.

An alleged Foxconn worker, the company that manufactures a bulk of Apple’s iPhones, told ItHome today that the iPhone 15 family is set to have larger batteries.
The iPhone 15 will feature an 18 per cent larger battery, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro a 14 per cent larger battery, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max a 12 per cent larger battery.
This means the iPhone 15 could have a 3877mAh capacity, iPhone 15 Plus 4912mAh, iPhone 15 Pro 3650mAh and iPhone 15 Pro Max could have 4852mAh.
Meanwhile, dummy units suggest the new smartphones could have a titanium design and a USB-C charging port.
Apple never shares details of its upcoming iPhone before the official unveiling, which is expected to be in September.

2022: In September the iPhone 14 was announced. One of the new features included a new sensor to detect if a user had been in a car crash as well as an improved camera system.
2023: So far this year Apple has brought back its ‘Home Pod’ after the first generation was discontinued. The ‘Home Pod’ can be seen as an alternative to Amazon’s Alexa or Google Home as it is powered by voice commands.
