A DERMATOLOGIST has shared the cheap beauty buys she swears by for wrinkle-free skin.
So if you’re looking for anti-ageing tips, but don’t have loads of cash to splash on pricey products, you’ve come to the right place.
Self-proclaimed ‘skin nerd’ Dr. Shereene Idriss, who is based in New York, took to social media to share her money-saving advice for youthful-looking skin.
The skincare whizz posted her clip with the caption ‘Budget anti-aging routine for less than 100 bucks [£80]!’
She then said: “I’m nearly 40-years-old and a board-certified dermatologist, and you do not need to spend one million dollars on an anti-ageing skincare routine.
“Get a really solid one for [less than] $100 [£80].

“Start with a cleanser. In the morning, you can skip it and wash your face with water.
“At night, go for a $9 [£7] gentle cleanser without any actives.
“Is it the best at removing make-up? Nope, so you can marry it to a micellar water. My preferred one is by Bioderma. The one with the pink cap, for sensitive skin.”
If you want to give the Bioderma micellar water a try, you can nab an 100ml bottle for just £4.40 from Look Fantastic.

Shereene then continued: “Onto exfoliation. I love alpha hydroxy acids, also known as AHAs, especially glycolic acid, because it has anti-ageing benefits.
“I do this at night, a few times a week, and the Inkey List has one for $9 [£7].
“Next we have our serums and this is where you want to spend your [money].
“Vitamin C and retinol – Vitamin C is important, especially in the morning. Vanicream has one for sensitive skin.
“A retinol that you can use at night – this is [Elf] a beginners’ retinol, this is one that is not too strong.
“Start low and slow, maybe two times a week at night, and work your way up.
“Advanced users out there, and a pro derm tip, you can use the retinol as an under eye cream, but buffer it first by using Vaseline underneath your eyes and then using a tiny bit of retinol on top.
“For a moisturiser, you can get a two in one. La Roche Posay Toleriane [£13.30] doubles as a moisturiser and an SPF because it’s loaded with ceramides and you get SPF 30 protection.
“There you have it, a solid anti-ageing skincare routine for less than $100 [£80].”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @shereeneidriss, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed a staggering 2.4 million views.
