A MUM has been left fuming after she rushed to Sainsbury’s to buy Prime only to find the shelves empty.

Claire Smith, 52, took her kids and raced over to her local store in Solihull this morning.

She said after being nagged all week, her children, aged 10 and 12, excitedly dragged her out of bed to head out.

However, when they got there and the doors opened, KSI and Logan Paul‘s drink was no where to be found.

It comes after the supermarket chain announced they would be stocking the viral drink from today.

Claire said: “They’d been nagging me for it for a week.

“They got me out of bed, all excited to buy it with their own pocket money.

“We dashed into the supermarket, running across the car park to be the first ones in.

“Once they realised there was no Prime in stock, they were really disappointed.

“A sales assistant told us to come back on Friday, but they had it in their heads that they were going to get it today.”

Shoppers in Maidstone, Kent, were also desperate to get their hands on a bottle and queued outside in the dark.

Scrambling inside, they were faced with a sign which said: “We are awaiting stock of these products.

“We apologise for any inconvenience.”

A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s said the drinks are being rolled out today so might not hit some stores until tomorrow.

They added the drinks will be on a “when it’s gone, it’s gone” basis and customers will also be limited on how many they can buy.

They said: “We know our customers actively seek the latest in product innovation.

“We are excited to be launching the following Prime Hydration products, rolling out in store from Tuesday 21 February on a ‘When It’s Gone, It’s Gone’ basis.

“Customers can buy up to three bottles of Prime Hydration.”

Sainsbury’s is the latest chain to sell KSI and Logan Paul‘s product.

It was confirmed this month they will sell five 500ml flavours, including a limited edition Mango and Orange variety for £2.50.

The others are Lemon Lime, Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch and Ice Pop and will cost £2.

The hit drink, which took the US by storm, first appeared in Aldi and Asda in 2022.

Shoppers raced to Aldi at the end of last year to try and get their hands on the £1.99 beverage.

Despite originally saying they wouldn’t be stocking Prime, Morrisons has now jumped on the bandwagon and said it will be in the future.

This isn’t the first time shoppers have queued for the drink.

And some desperate parents have even travelled more than 500 miles just to get their hands on a bottle.
