If you didn’t realise, you can set Live Wallpapers on your iPhone Home Screen.
These are special wallpapers that move around when you hold your finger on them.
If you’ve ever set a Live Photo that you’ve snapped as your wallpaper, you may have noticed it already.
But you can also convert any TikTok clip into a Live Wallpaper too.
In fact, there’s a whole cache of Live Wallpapers available on TikTok right now.
The clever Apple trick was revealed by TikTok creator @heimadigital, which has racked up over 80,000 likes.
How to use TikTok video as iPhone wallpaper
First, go on to TikTok.

Then type Live Wallpaper into the search bar and hit enter.
You’ll then find a large selection of Live Wallpapers that people have uploaded to the app.
Tap on one you like, and then press the Share arrow on the right-hand side of the screen.
Now scroll right along the bottom row of menu icons.
Near the end you’ll see an option for Live Photo.
Tap that and the video will be saved as a Live Photo on your iPhone.
Now go into your Photos app and find the Live Photo in your gallery.
Tap the Share icon in the bottom left-hand corner.
Next choose Use As Wallpaper, make sure Live Photo is on, and then set as your Home Screen background.
Now go to your Home Screen and hold down on the display somewhere.
You’ll notice that the image moves, just like it did on TikTok.
It’s best to choose a wallpaper that looks good even before you’ve made it move.
This is a handy trick that will impress your friends.
And remember: new Live Wallpapers are added to TikTok all the time, so you can swap yours out if you get bored.
Don’t forget that you can also take your own Live Photos and set them as a wallpaper too.
