A CLEANER has revealed how she makes an extra £3.6k a year with her savvy side hustle.
Lauren Meehan, 27, came up with the clever hack after being inspired by her love of photography and animals.
The part-time cleaner from Watford claims her flourishing side hustle as a pet photographer makes her over £3,000 a year.
She ploughs all her profits back into her side hustle snapping animals – which she hopes will one day be her full-time dream job.
Lauren said: “I just really really love it. It’s amazing!
“I’m doing what I love and creating special memories for people, which makes them happy too – it’s perfect.”
Lauren studied animal care for five years and wanted to be a vet.
But she then realised her passion lay in photography and started posting pictures of her own dogs, Coco and Joey, on her Facebook page every day.

People liked and shared her pictures and gradually customers flocked in.
Business dropped off due to Covid but is now bouncing back now.
Lauren meets people to take pictures of their pets, then Photoshops her snaps to make bespoke pictures.
Among her favourites are a pet horse that she made to look like it was in space.
She also cherishes a Halloween picture of a dog in a castle, with human hands coming out of the floor and skeletons all around.
Lauren added that many customers want to create a special picture as their beloved animals get old.
She serves three or four customers a week at the moment, bringing in a tidy £300 a month – roughly £3,600 a year.
Her profits are going towards a smart new studio for her work in old stables at the home she shares with her parents and brother.
Lauren said: “It’s such a great feeling when people really love my pictures and share them.
“It makes me very proud. My customers’ happiness is the most important thing for me.”
It comes after the Sun revealed that personal trainer Lana, 39, makes an extra £1,000 a month from men who want to be “financially dominated”.
Savvy entrepreneur Christiane Pearl also exclusively told The Sun how she makes £600 a year through a genius side hustle.
Christiane rents out a parking space in front of her home, and feels like she’s “won a prize” ever time someone pulls in.
