While for some buying your Christmas bits and bobs this early may seem a little crazy, for others it is a vital part of the process.

Ikea’s Chrimbo range has dropped online and is also available to grab in store as well.

Any online purchases will be subject to delivery charges so bear that in mind.

It consists of a mixture of indoor and outdoor decorations, ornaments and essentials.

Named the ‘Vinterfint’ collection, there are hundreds of items available from cookie cutters and door mats to artificial trees.

You can find your nearest Ikea by using its handy locator tool on the website.

We went through the collection on the Ikea and picked out our favourite pieces – starting from just a £1.

It is available both online and in store.

Plenty of retailers will be stocking pots like this for the Christmas period, we found similar styles on places like Wilko but none were as low priced as this one.

But that’s not to say to always shop around for the best deal and always make sure the delivery cost is worth it.

Pastry cutters – £4

These festive shapes come in a pack of five and are perfect for creating gingerbread cookies.

The pack consists of a mixture of shapes including a reindeer and a Christmas tree.

It is available both in store and online.

We had a quick look to see if anywhere could beat this price for a similar pack, Amazon has one for £4.99 so slightly more expensive – but it’s always good to check.

Glass multicolour baubles – £7

On the website there are dozens of different baubles and hanging decorations.

This three pack of baubles could be just what you need to refresh your tree this year.

The ribbons are included so you won’t need to faff around with spare ties and they’ll match most Christmas décor.

The Ikea website is currently listing these as unavailable for delivery but they are in stores for you to grab on your way round.

There are no shortage of glass baubles at this time of year, we found B&M was stocking a six pack of similar ones for £5, make sure you have a shop around before splitting with your cash.

Artificial Christmas tree – £99

The centre of any home at Christmas time is the tree, so whether you’re looking for something new or to refresh an old model, Ikea has lots of options for you.

This 210cm one is a great choice for a tall and full bodied tree with lots of space for decorations.

Ikea says it is guaranteed needle-free and takes up little storage space.

Currently it is available both in store and online but do bear in mind delivery costs.

Just under £100 for a nearly 7ft tree seems like a pretty good deal, although we did find one on Amazon for £49.

It’s always worth checking reviews and doing a direct comparison between products if you’re unsure.

Christmas doormat – £8

Why not have Christmas start right at the front door this year? This doormat would make a great addition to any hallway or porch.

This decorative rug is made of coir fibre – a durable natural material that is perfect to have by the entrance.

The backing keeps the rug firmly in place and reduces the risk of slipping.

You can order the mat online or purchase it in your nearest Ikea.

Most high street brands (John Lewis and Wayfair) seem to sell similar mats to this for between £10-£12 so this is a pretty good deal, do make sure you check a few different places before you commit.

Bauble wreath – £19

A wreath is an easy way to spruce up your table setting or decorate a inside door.

The wintery colours go with a lot of colour schemes and at 38cm it will make a statement wherever you put it.

It is available to buy in store but not online.

After a quick Google we found a similar wreath but in different colours on Matalan for £16, so depending on your colour scheme it might be worth seeing what other stores have available this year.
