IKEA is bringing back its £9 real Christmas tree offer for the tenth year running.

You’ll be able to bag the deal at participating Ikea stores from Monday November 22 until December 23 – or until stock lasts.

The offer works out to be £9 for a Christmas tree

Participating branches include all stores except for Ikea Manchester and Ikea Leeds.

You can find your nearest branch offering the deal on Ikea’s store locator tool.

The trees come in a variety of sizes with a maximum height of 170cm.

The deal works like this: you buy a real fir tree for £29 and then receive a £20 voucher to redeem in store.

The voucher can be used to buy products across a wide range of homewares but only from January 10 to February 13, 2022.

Note that you will ultimately need to spend £29 to get the offer, with the tree working out to be £9 only if you redeem the voucher on other purchases in the month-long window in the new year.

We’ve asked Ikea what form the vouchers come in and how to use them so we’ll update this page when we know more.

You won’t be able to use the voucher on Ikea’s online shop, or in its restaurants, Swedish food market or bistro.

You also cannot use it for home delivery, kitchen planning, installation pick, delivery services or any other service offered by Ikea.

The voucher has no cash value and damaged, copied or altered vouchers will not be accepted.

It also must be used in a single transaction – any unredeemed value is lost – and it cannot be used alongside other offers.

For stores in England and Scotland, the trees will be locally sourced Nordmann fir trees grown in Scotland.

Meanwhile, Ikea in Cardiff will be stocking fir trees grown in Wales.

Anna Liakh, commercial activities leader for Ikea UK and Ireland, said: “Over the festive season, a beautifully decorated tree can become a focal point of any space.

“We’re really happy to be bringing back Ikea’s real Christmas trees for another year, offering affordable, high-quality trees for customers to enjoy.

“With the added bonus of a £20 voucher to spend in the New Year across our range of homewares in-store, we hope to spread the festive cheer for a few more months to come!”
