ICELAND is putting a twist on festive favourites this year with its Christmas food range for 2020.
Among the selection includes a pigs in blankets inspired macaroni cheese as well as a sticky toffee log cake.

You’ll be able to shop the range both in store and online but bear in mind that all of the items come frozen so you need to to follow the correct guidance on defrosting or cooking before eating.
Items will start becoming available from now until Christmas.
Use Iceland’s store locator tool to find your nearest. Online, you need to spend a minimum of £25 and Iceland charges a £2 delivery fee on orders between £25 and £35 – it’s free on orders over £25.
Sadly, Iceland is yet to reveal all of the prices of its Christmas 2020 range but once they are available don’t forget to compare prices at other supermarkets to ensure you’re getting good value for money.

Chicken Christmas Trees

Admittedly not one for your Christmas dinner – unless you’ve got kids who are fussy eaters – these Christmas tree-shaped Christmas dippers would, however, be great for any festive gatherings.
Asda and Tesco have both sold similar Christmas tree-shaped chicken nuggets in the past although neither currently have stock available.
Outside of Christmas ranges, Iceland currently has the cheapest chicken dippers with a pack of 60 (1.08kg) for £3.
Mini Hot Dog Rolls

We thought these mini hot dogs featuring a miniature sausage in a bun were another fun dish for Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve parties – following the current coronavirus rule of six, of course.
Iceland sells a box of 15 (195g) hot dog rolls for £2 or it has a promotional offer where you can get three boxes for a fiver making it £1.66 a box.
Tesco also sells a box of ten mini burgers and hot dogs (225g) but these are a pricier £5.
Luxury Pigs in Blankets Mac & Cheese

Christmas can be a busy time so this pigs in blankets mac & cheese ready meal for one is guaranteed to not only save you time but warm your cockles too.
It sees sausages wrapped in crispy smoked bacon and paired with macaroni made from Red Leicester cheese, parsley and topped with crunchy breadcrumbs.
You can buy it online or in store at Iceland and Food Warehouse.
The closest we could get to this in other supermarkets is at Sainsbury’s where it’s selling Charlie Bigham’s macaroni cheese with pancetta (£340g) for a more expensive £4.75. It is fresh rather than frozen though.
Turkey Wellington

For those who are bored of roast turkey we thought this wellington was an interesting take on a classic roast with turkey and stuffing wrapped in a pastry crust.
Iceland isn’t the only supermarket to shake-up beef wellington with turkey this year though – Asda has a slightly larger version (1.39kg) to serve six, which as well as turkey and stuffing also has a pig in blanket running through it.
Asda’s version is available from November 6, although like Iceland it’s yet to reveal the price.
Sticky Toffee Winter Forest Log

This may look like a chocolate shaped tree stump from the outside but you won’t find the traditional chocolate log filling inside. Instead it’s stuffed with sticky toffee sponge and sauce.
It’s also an absolute whopper of a dessert reaching almost 1kg but we think it’d look great on tables this festive season.

The closest we could find at other supermarkets is Tesco’s Finest Sticky Toffee Wreath (750g), which serves six. This isn’t, however, available to buy just yet and the price is yet to be revealed.
Elsewhere, you can just opt for a plain sticky toffee sponge pudding (400g) for £2 at both Iceland and Sainsbury’s but it doesn’t come with the chocolate icing surrounding it.
